South Cobb Arts Alliance

Originally held on the grounds of the Historic Mable House, the summer Candlelite Concerts began in 1989 as part of the South Cobb Arts Alliance commitment to bringing free entertainment to the citizens of Cobb County.  The free concerts are supported by a partnership with the Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre, Mable House Arts Center, and Cobb County Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs.  The Cobb County Board of Commissioners also supports the free concerts.

It has always been the focus of the SCAA Candlelilte Concerts to showcase local talent such as Kerry Ayres & Rambunctious, Kayla Taylor Jazz, Delta Moon, Montana Skies, Milkshake Mayfield, and Blair Crimmins and the Hookers.

Attendance has grown over the years from a few hundred to over 1,000 at any given concert.  The season has grown from three to five (and sometimes six) concerts.

Check out our current schedule and make plans to join us for a great evening!
